The Exposure Mindset

Exposures consist of two parts – the exposure action, and of equal importance, the exposure mindset. Many times, individuals accidentally forget to embrace the exposure mindset. Other times, people think they are using an exposure mindset but are unintentionally giving themselves reassurance or not actually focusing on an exposure mindset. Learning more about the exposure mindset, and how to integrate it into one’s practices, increases the effectiveness of the exposure process.
